Build your first client page

A practical checklist for freelancers who want a clear offer, honest proof, and one simple next step.

1. Make your offer specific

Say who you help and what you deliver. Example: “I design one-page websites for independent consultants.”

2. Show honest proof

Add a relevant work sample. If it is a practice project, label it as a sample. You do not need invented testimonials to explain your skills.

3. Explain the scope

Tell potential clients what is included, what you need from them, and what happens after they contact you.

4. Give visitors one next step

Use a clear inquiry button or form. Ask only for the details you need to understand the project.

5. Test before sharing

Open the page on your phone, test the inquiry action, and check that the response arrives where expected. Make your confirmation message match the response time you can provide.

A tool you can explore

The Systeme platform offers a free account with page-building tools. Check the current limits and stay on the free plan while it fits your needs. A page alone does not bring clients; you still need to reach relevant people.

If you already have a portfolio and a working contact link, you may not need another platform.
